• MONSTER records gets underway in 2009 as an independent no-profit and no-funding label. Bypassing traditional distibution and promotion channels, the aim is to get directly to the media (radio, magazines, fanzines, etc.) and to the listeners. Indeed, at least for independent bands, we think that those traditional channels constitute more a limit than an opportunity. Thus, following in first independent labels' footsteps (as fast products, factory, mute records, rough trade, etc.), there will be no bond/link between the label and the artists (a part from a common idea of the music) and records will be sent only by mail-order.
• MONSTER records has only an activity of communication with media and mail-order shopping. Thus, the label does not fund and produce any record (at least for the moment) which remains property of the artists.
